CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION: Students will learn voice over technique, collect effective commercial scripts and produce a nationally marketable voice over demo.

PRE-REQUISITES: None.

COURSE RATIONALE:
• The ability to recognize the industry standard voice over CD through research.
• The ability to create a product that will assist in the actor’s marketability to agents, advertising companies etc.,
• The challenge and business of self promotion and up to date marketing techniques; including website, CD and personal logo and art.
• Performers need to develop tangible skills and a workable process of marketing, which can lead to a more practice avenue of earning.

MATERIALS:
• Students will be expected to bring in a notebook and copy/script ideas, scripts typed with two copies. And to be ready to record in every class.
